As most of you know, it has rained for three weeks straight here. No I am not exaggerating (I wish I was!) The weather forecast said there was a chance of PASSING showers, but according to them, and to accuweather for the area, there was only a chance of rain at 10am and 2pm. Well boy were they wrong!!! After an hour and a half drive, it was still raining at the zoo. We figured it would pass, and went in. We were there all of an hour and a half (and had barely seen anything) when the lightening and thunder started. We decided to eat lunch at the car and see if it would stop. It didn't. We got a rain check to go back another day. We were able to see some monkeys, go to the petting zoo, see a show, and let the boys go on a camel ride while we were there.
