A Few Pictures

I'm Back and Running!!!

Hello! Although it has only been a week and a half, it seems like so much longer. As most of you know our computer AND my cell phone decided to take a vacation at the same time. So I was without many phone numbers and without a way to email and ask for them! Very frustrating, but (yay!) I'm back. Things are going well here. We are currently busy with Halloween events. Also, we are busy preparing for Brody's 1st birthday/party. I still can not believe it has been 1 year! All of the kids are doing great. Ty is done with football, with the exception of his football banquet. Nate is, well Nate. Brody is walking everywhere and even (gulp) running! Please don't judge me on this statement, but I think the funniest thing is that sometimes, he seems to run straight into walls. I wouldn't laugh if he got hurt, but he'll just fall down and stay there and kind of hum or sing to himself, and look at me and laugh. It's like he does it to be funny.
Less than 2 weeks until the ultrasound. I will be polling everyone, so get your guess ready. (I still stand by my boy guess)
I hope everyone is doing well... Happy Halloween! Make sure you're all voting next Tuesday!!!

Fall Fun

This past Saturday we made a family trip to Parker's Maple Barn in Mason, NH, followed by apple and pumpkin picking at Washburn's Windy Hill Orchard (which is right down the road form Parker's.)
It was absolutely beautiful! So many of the leaves have already turned, and it was about 70 degrees out. We couldn't have asked for better weather. The kids loved going on the hayride to the orchard, where we picked Courtland and Macintosh apples. We stopped to look at the goats and the sheep. Brody made friends with one of the goats. Then we were on a search for the perfect pumpkin. In years past, we have gotten a pumpkin for each child, but we decided on doing one big, family pumpkin this year. We are carving it tonight, and I promise to take pictures when we are done.
On another note, Ty made an awesome catch today, when he was on the receiving team in football. He caught the ball and ran like his life depended on it!!! It was so exciting!
And have I mentioned that Brody is walking all over the place? He has mastered walking, and is doing it much more than crawling now.
Nate is good too... I thought I should add that in;)
I hope everyone else is enjoying the autumn weather and beautiful scenery.

Amazing Photos

Hello! One of Ty's teammate's fathers takes pictures at every game. He has shared the link to all his photos, and the pictures are wonderful. You can order them in various sizes. Keep in mind Ty is #98 during GAMES and his practice jersey is #83 (He wears his practice jersey for scrimmages.)

Current Happenings

It has been very chilly here, and I feel the effects much more when we are at a football game at 7am! Ty played in Bedford this past weekend, and he could feel the cold too... unfortunately his team lost, but they all played a great game! They are now 2-3 on the season. Ty has been very busy with school, and is currently working on a project where he has to track the weather every day for the month of october and also keep a graph chart of what the weather was like that day (i.e. cloudy, rainy, sunny, snowy, windy) and at the end of each week he writes a paragraph or two on what he noticed in the weather pattern for that week, and what he thinks next week will be like, etc. Needless to say, it is a big project. He wrote his first report last night and did a great job! He also has the option to write an extra credit report (which Ty has opted to do) where he can pick any kind of weather and write a report on it... showing research methods and all. He has narrowed it down to investigating a tornado, or a Nor'Easter... which I'm pulling for, seeing as how it's a bit more relavent to our area... that and we'll probably be experiencing one before we know it! He is so enthusiastic about school, and takes such great pride in his work. It is really amazing to witness.
Nate has been full of life as always. He is enjoying all of his new toys, and his new pet fish! He has been working really hard with his dad building lego models. It has been their quiet time together, and they have built two of them so far. Both are Star Wars battle ships. Nate seems to really enjoy figuring out which piece goes where and sorting through them all. He is so proud of his models, and is currently putting them up high on a shelf for "looking at only". He is very concerned Brody may get one and destroy it. I don't blame him... I would be worried about that too. He is also continuously building with his Magnetix. I have to say the patterns and designs shock me. He has made such detailed designs, that I can only say look like intricate snowflakes. He is constantly changing them and is so proud of all his work.
Brody is talking more and more every day. His babbles have started to sound more like words, and his is so curious. He is getting more and more comfortable with walking, although I think he prefers crawling since he gets around so much faster that way. Brody gets so excited to see his brothers, and speeds off to follow them where ever they may go... not always to his brothers' liking.

Because I should make it "official"...

Apparently the powers that be didn't think we were busy enough yet, and we will (surprise!) be expecting another addition to our family. Baby number FOUR will be making a debut this spring. April 7th is the estimated due date, but since no child of mine has ever cooperated with that, we'll just assume sometime around then. So, surprise!, wish us luck...
And for all obvious reasons, I have to say, yes, I am not only expecting to have another little boy, but I think that would be very welcome considering our mass stockpiles of clothes and toys and everything boy-related. Only time will tell... in this case if all goes well, November 10th.

Keeping Up With Ty in School

To anyone interested, here is Ty's classroom website.

http://www.myteacherpages.com/webpages/LLeary/index.cfm

It is updated frequently, and always has what is currently going on in his classroom, along with pictures, puzzles and poems.

Keeping up with it all

Hello!
I know there is always so much going on in our lives, and I am able to tell bits and pieces here and there, but I know this is a much easier way to keep updated and you can check in from time to time. Hopefully with all the chaos, I can maintain some order here and do my best to stay on top of things.
Currently, Nate has just had his 4th birthday (yay!) and was VERY excited about turning four. This means he is a "big boy" now. Ty is doing great in school, and loves the second grade. It is definitely more work, but he loves to learn and really applies himself whole-heartedly. Brody is all over the place. He crawls at the speed of light and is daring enough to walk when he feels like it. (We have witnessed him taking about 5 or 6 steps) I think it depends on his mood at the moment.
We are very busy with football, but the season ends at the end of the month, so relief is in sight. Although Ty was going to play basketball, we decided with all that is going on, and baseball and soccer coming this spring (which will be here before we know it) it may be nice to have a break from chaos.
I hope this is an easier way to keep up with everything! I'll try to keep it as updated as possible.
Thank you to everyone for all of the support for Ty at his game this past Sunday, he was so encouraged, and thank you also for all the wonderful birthday gifts and cards for Nate.
